this is how billions of people in the world live while you all stuff your faces with food and drink this coming THANKSGIVING, probably not even knowing what the day is for to begin with.

all i see are THANKSGIVING DAY sales....................................................................
the amount of TURKEYS sold
the cranberry sauce the apple pies the spending the buying the concern about getting gifts for the kids whose families you are going to attend so you DONT LOOK BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! so you DONT LOOK CHEAP ( as if your appreciation and love for others is translatable into the exchange of inanimate objects toys nonsense )!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so you dont become ostracized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the amount of time you all spend getting together to stuff your faces with NONSENSICAL overdoses of everything imaginable.................................................


many of the neurotics i treated hated the day................................
hated the family dynamics
hated being forced to all GET TOGETHER
made their issues come full surface.........................................

around the holidays .........................ask any shrink about them....................................
why??????????????? because so many issues creep into the conscious mind about our past and present situation that we repress but cant anymore because we have to
see the people who drove us all nuts as kids...................................
This is FUN????????????????????

Holidays in America are commercial secular money making days.
that is it!
Christmas is the prime example of this and no other holiday has been turned upside down and made into a shopping spree than NAVIDAD....................................
Christ did not mention shopping on the cross.
TO schlep family members to other family members with gifts and more gifts and more inanimate objects that will be forgotten the next morning.......................................
we are thoughtless
we are emotionless we are thankless.......we dont understand how holidays started their meaning their reasons their evolution their function
in this country yes AMERICA it is all about the DOLLAR..............the stinking DOLLAR............&
.....we basically ALL

cricket in india is not just a sport but a way of living. its just the major cola's advert "eat cricket, sleep cricket, drink only ** cola"
from the moment you grow and manage to hold a plastic toy bat you play cricket, who cares about the rules, its enough you can swing your bat, or wooden stick or sometimes whatever is available and stuffed paper in polythene can do for a ball and you are game.

from cricket ground, to hostel corridors, from 5 day test matches to 15 mins school recess, you can play cricket.
And everyone has a favourite tale of being chased by the neighbors after you broke the window panes.
here i found some kids enjoying a game of cricket in a madrassa / mosque in Srirangapatnam where once Tipu Sultan once offered prayers. Tipu Sultan the erstwhile ruler of Mysore state who once brought the British to knees, to the kids today who bring the world to their kids by swinging their bats and bowling the perfect line.
Here to the countless Sachins and Sehwags who dot the labyrinth gallis (narrow roads) and kuchas of sleepy towns in India who and cheer for cricket.
